On the 29th of October, we went to Malaga Port.
We went by bus
We were in the Alborania museum. Here, we learnt about the history of the Port and the people that lived here: Phoenicians founded our city in the 10th century BC.
Then, the Romans came. They made garum and they built the Roman theatre and the city wall.
In medieval times, we had the Arabs. They traded with pottery, oil, spices, raisins. They built the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro castle.
In the 19th century they built the Light house and finished the Port.
Thanks to a German ship called "Gneiseau", we have the German Bridge in Malaga.
Today we have a new Maritime Station, Muelle 1 and "El Palmeral"
